I agree. Of course people are acknowledging Whitney Houston’s death. Because, forgetting the fact that she was a celebrity, she has lost her life and it’s sad. For her family and her friends, and yes, her fans also! Of course it’s tragic when people who aren’t celebrities die but come on, this is such a fucking ridiculous thing to say. She just happened to be known by millions of people who are now mourning her death, no one is saying she deserves more acknowledgment because she was famous, she just gets it because she was famous. I’m quite aware that more people will mourn for Whitney Houston than will mourn for me when I die, purely because MORE PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF HER. Not because she deserves it more than I do, because she is a celebrity. Jeeeeesus, use your brains.
